About this adventure

The Bastrop Opera House closes its 2026 season with Annie, the Broadway musical about the irrepressibly optimistic orphan who, during the Great Depression, is taken in for the holidays by billionaire Oliver Warbucks while she keeps searching for her parents. The theater pitches the show, with its well-known songs, as a story of hope that suits Christmastime and will have the whole family smiling. The production is directed by Melissa Ford and runs through most of December in the historic opera house on Spring Street in downtown Bastrop. Everyone attending needs their own ticket regardless of age, and the theater does not admit children under 3. Tickets are sold through the opera house's online box office; individual performance times are listed there.
