About this adventure
The Austin Dance Conservatory brings its local Georgetown Nutcracker back to the historic Palace Theatre on the downtown square for two December performances, December 15 and 16. This is the fifth year the Georgetown-based ballet school has staged the holiday classic for Williamson County audiences, with conservatory students dancing alongside faculty in a full production of Clara's journey through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. For many young dancers in the cast it is a rite of passage, and for young audience members it is a shorter drive and a smaller, more intimate house than the big Austin productions. The organizer's ticket page currently shows the run as sold out and states there are no refunds, so families without tickets should watch the conservatory's site or ask the Palace box office about any released seats.
