About this adventure
Lake Travis High School's student coding club, Cavs Who Code, teaches the basics of Python and core programming ideas to parent-and-child teams at the Lakeway Library. The class is built for pairs: one grown-up and one child working side by side, which makes it a good first coding experience for families who want to learn together. Children must be at least 8 years old, and each pair must bring its own laptop. Space is limited to 15 parent/child pairs; the library hands out Cavs Who Code passes 30 minutes before class, so arrive early to claim one. Sessions run 90 minutes in the Lakeway Meeting Room.
