About this adventure

Pumpkin Nights turns the grounds of Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms into a nighttime Halloween walk past illuminated pumpkin displays grouped into nine themed 'Lands'. After the trail, families continue into Pumpkin Village, the center of the festival, with food, vendor booths, games for the whole family and a live fire show that repeats through the evening. Entry is by timed slot booked online in advance, so plan to arrive close to your time; a premium ticket lets you enter at any point on your night and adds one visit to the haunted house. The route is grass, loose dirt, gravel and sand with some inclines: light strollers manage, but the organizer says wheelchairs have proven difficult, and the farm gets muddy after rain, so wear sturdy shoes and bring bug spray on warm nights. The event stays open through light rain; if lightning or heavy rain forces a closure, tickets move automatically to another night. On busy evenings the parking line can take up to half an hour.
