About this adventure
A ranger-led paper-folding class in the picnic area at Lockhart State Park. Participants learn the basics of origami and fold paper into plants and animals, choosing from several patterns that range from easy to advanced, so a first-timer and a practised folder can both find a challenge. All supplies are provided; just dress for the weather and bring water, since the class is held outdoors. It is recommended for ages 6 and up and runs an hour on a Saturday afternoon, an easy add-on to a hike or picnic in the park. No registration is needed.
