About this adventure
Pease Park Conservancy and puppeteer Joan Klasson of Small Wonders Entertainment bring free outdoor puppet shows to the amphitheater at Kingsbury Commons on two Saturday mornings this season, November 14 and December 12. Each hour-long show is a gentle, interactive performance that suits preschoolers and early elementary kids, with puppets, songs and plenty of chances for the audience to call out and play along. Kingsbury Commons is the park's main gathering area, so it is an easy stroller outing, and families can stay to walk the park afterward. The shows are free and open to the public and all ages are welcome; the conservancy asks families to register through the link on each date's event page so they can plan for the crowd. Bring a blanket for the grass in case the benches fill.
