About this adventure

A two-hour trail-riding workshop for riders who can already ride a bike but are new to dirt trails. A ranger teaches safety tips and techniques for handling the park's trails, then leads the group out to practise. Participants must be at least 8 years old, and riders under 15 must be accompanied by a participating adult, so it works as a parent-and-child outing. Bring your own mountain bike (not a BMX bike), or ask to borrow one of the park's few bikes and helmets; loaner bikes require riders to be at least 5 feet tall, as there are no child-size bikes. The class is limited to 10 participants, and everyone signs a liability waiver. Register by emailing the park with your contact details and, if borrowing, your height; arrive 10 minutes early for fitting.
