About this adventure

South County families with young children can ring in the new year at Deale Library a little earlier than everyone else. The branch's Noon Year's Eve celebration has music, noisemakers and a countdown to noon that ends with a balloon drop — a big moment for toddlers and preschoolers. It starts at 11 am, half an hour earlier than most branches' parties, and wraps up at noon, so it fits around naps. The program is aimed at children up to age 5 with their caregivers and takes place in Deale's community meeting room. No registration is listed.
