The Sugar Plum Fairy from the Contempic School of Ballet hosts a storytime at the Finksburg branch, followed by an excerpt performance from the school's 'Nutcracker Tea Party'. Children ages 3 to 12 hear the story and watch ballet up close in the library's large meeting room, a gentle way to meet the Nutcracker before attending a full production. The program takes place during winter break on a Tuesday morning and lasts about an hour. Registration is required, so sign up through the library's event page in advance.
