About this adventure

Carroll County Public Library's Mount Airy branch runs a monthly sensory-sensitive storytime on Friday mornings for children roughly 3 to 8 who enjoy stories but do better in a calm, small-group setting. The library dims the lights and provides sensory supports, and the group is kept small so children can interact at their own pace without the bustle of a regular storytime. Each session lasts an hour in the branch's large meeting room, with a caregiver staying alongside. Registration is required and opens two weeks before each date, so mark the calendar: the November session opens November 6, December's opens December 4 and January's opens January 1.
