Ballet Chesapeake has created a sensory-friendly Nutcracker program for young children at the Bel Air Armory. Children attend an age-appropriate performance that introduces them to live theater: dancers perform excerpts from the Nutcracker while a narrator tells the story of Clara and her magical toy. Afterward, costumed dancers lead the children to a decorated tea party area for refreshments. There are various ticketed show times throughout the day on Friday, December 4. Tickets and exact times are sold through Ballet Chesapeake's website.
