About this adventure
Odenton Library runs a small, sensory-friendly storytime twice a month for preschoolers (birth to 5) who find big group storytimes hard: children on the autism spectrum, kids who are sensitive to sensory overload, or those who simply do better in a quieter, smaller room. The library describes it as supportive and judgment-free, so children can move, stim or take a break without anyone minding, and siblings are welcome to come along. Expect picture books, songs and simple activities paced for little ones in the branch's community meeting room. Because the group is kept small, registration is required and opens online two weeks before each session; families are asked to register once per family rather than per child. The hour-long Friday-morning sessions run through the winter.
