About this adventure

The parent-led Home and School Association of St. Joseph School Fullerton holds its second Turkey Chaser on the Saturday before Thanksgiving week, with a timed 5K and an untimed one-mile fun run that suits children and walkers. The morning starts with same-day registration and packet pickup at 8:00, a group warm-up at 8:45, the 5K at 9:00 (runners first, then walkers) and the fun run at 9:15, followed by awards and a post-race celebration until 11:00. Every registered participant gets a finisher medal and a race-day goodie bag; 5K age-group winners and the top three fun-run finishers receive medals. A Best Dressed Turkey contest rewards the most festive costumes with gift cards, so turkey hats are encouraged. Proceeds support school programs and family events at St. Joseph School.
