About this adventure

The North Linthicum Improvement Association launches its first Turkey Trot this year at Overlook Park, a 5K that anyone can run, jog, walk or 'waddle'. Organizers stress that it is about getting outside and starting a new neighborhood tradition rather than racing, and they invite people from outside North Linthicum too: bring the kids, the neighbors and the whole crew. That makes it a gentle first 'race' for school-age children who can cover three miles at their own pace with a parent. It is held on a Saturday morning two weeks before Thanksgiving, so it does not compete with holiday plans. Registration is through RunSignup at a single price.
