A festive Halloween morning for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups at Wenham Museum on the North Shore. Families come in costume and move through the museum enjoying not-so-spooky activities: Halloween sensory play with pretend potions and themed sensory bins, hands-on crafts such as painting a mini pumpkin and decorating a trick-or-treat bag, a costume parade through the galleries, and a Halloween dance party with kid-friendly music from 10 to 10:30am. A professional photographer takes free family costume photos, with prints available to buy. Little ones can also explore the museum's interactive exhibits, including its model trains and toy collections. The activity fee is $14 ($12 for members; children under 1 free) and covers the Halloween activities only; museum admission ($14 adults and children, $12 seniors) is separate for anyone who wants to tour the exhibits before or after. Tickets are sold online in advance.
