Broadmoor's wetlands are shaped by beavers, and this golden-hour walk goes looking for their handiwork. Families search for active and abandoned lodges, chewed stumps and dams, learn how one beaver family can transform a landscape, and keep watch as dusk falls for beavers swimming the marsh and cutting branches for winter food. The 90-minute walk is for families with children ages 5 to 12 and follows dirt and wooded trails, so wear weather-appropriate clothes and bring water. Meet in front of the Nature Center in Natick; registration required.
