A cosy hibernation story program for young children at Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick. Families gather for a reading of Time to Sleep by Denise Fleming and then meet one of the real animals from the story for a close-up encounter. Children find out what hibernation looks like, why some animals sleep through the winter while others stay active, and how they prepare for months without food, then make a hibernating-animal craft to take home. Meet in front of the Nature Center and dress for a short walk on wooded trails. For families with children 2 to 8.
