A family bird program at Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick that starts with a close encounter with one of Drumlin Farm's wildlife ambassador birds and an introduction to how backyard birds behave, call, eat and survive the coldest months. Families then take a guided walk to practise identifying local birds by sight and sound, and finish indoors building a bird feeder from recycled materials to hang at home. Meet in front of the Nature Center; wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes, bring water, and expect wooded trails. For families with children 5 to 12.
