A late-afternoon family tracking walk at Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in Natick. Mass Audubon field teachers lead families along the trails looking for tracks and other signs left by otters, rabbits, deer, coyotes and other winter animals, teaching children how to identify footprints, work out where animals have gone and understand how they stay warm and survive the winter (including whether otters really like to sled). Afterwards, children use rubber stamps to make their own track book to take home as a field guide. Meet in front of the Nature Center; wear weather-appropriate clothes and comfortable shoes and bring water. For families with children 5 to 12.
