About this adventure

Soule Homestead lines the nature trails on its Middleborough farm with candles for two evenings of luminaria walks, with a story walk about the winter solstice set up along the way. Groups of no more than 15 people head out every 20 minutes, so families book a time slot and are asked to arrive 30 minutes early to do the child's craft before their walk. Each ticket comes with a small cup of cocoa or coffee, and the barn sells refreshments, including s'mores kits when the weather allows; preordering snacks is optional but helps the farm avoid running out. The trails are not flat or even, so hiking shoes are recommended, and the farm strongly encourages bringing a real flashlight because phone lights are not enough. The farm bills the walk as ideal for all ages, and the money raised supports the preservation of Soule Homestead, a nonprofit conservation and farm learning center.
