About this adventure

The Trustees offer an outdoor alternative to Black Friday shopping at World's End in Hingham: a guided two-hour morning walk on the day after Thanksgiving. A guide leads the group around the first of World's End's drumlins and out to Rocky Neck, and onto the second drumlin if time allows, stopping at viewpoints over the harbor and coast and talking about the natural history of the peninsula and its tree-lined carriage roads. The route follows wide paths with slight inclines and some uneven sections, so it suits families whose children are comfortable walking for two hours; strollers would find the uneven stretches hard going. Dress for late-November weather on the water. Pre-registration is required, parking is included with the ticket, tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, and dogs are not allowed on this program.
