The hike starts with moon-themed activities in the Habitat Education Center nature center in Belmont, then follows wooded trails with a stop at the pond to listen for nocturnal animals and a look at the night sky from the meadow. Meet in the Nature Center and dress for the forecast. Walking is in low light; red-lens flashlights are welcome but not required. Instructor: Jane Higgins, Camp Director.
