An after-dark family hike on the even trails of Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary in Norfolk on a moonless night. With a Mass Audubon naturalist, families let their eyes adjust, listen for nocturnal wildlife, play sensory games in the dark and learn how animals navigate, find food and stay safe at night. Flashlights are welcome, though the best moments may come with them switched off. The program is entirely in low light on flat terrain. Meet at the visitor center, dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. For families with children 5 to 17.
