An evening family hike in the Blue Hills Reservation, which looks and sounds completely different once the sun goes down. Mass Audubon naturalists lead families onto the trails to flip logs, investigate insects, look at the trees and notice how the ecosystem shifts as night settles in. The walk covers up to 2 miles with some steeper, unpaved sections. Meet by the black gate in front of Blue Hills Trailside Museum in Milton (the museum itself is closed during the program). Bring your own water, wear closed-toe shoes and dress warmly. For families with children ages 4 to 17; all children must stay with an adult for the whole program. Offered on two Friday evenings, November 20 and December 18.
