Families roll up their sleeves and help Drumlin Farm's livestock team with evening chores: feeding the sheep, goats and cows their dinner, tidying the barns and making sure every animal is warm and settled before nightfall. Activities change with the farm's schedule and the season, so each session is a little different, and kids come away understanding the daily work behind sustainable farming. The 90-minute program is for families with children ages 4 to 12, runs rain or shine on paved paths and dirt trails, and calls for shoes that can get dirty. Meet in front of the Nature Center; registration required.
