A festive crafting morning in Appleton Farms' Education Barnyard for families with children ages 3 to 12. Craft tables in the Carriage Barn let kids make recycled-material cards, stamped wrapping paper, bookmarks and other handmade presents to give during the holidays, working at their own pace for an hour or more. Families can also explore the barnyard and see how the animals live in winter. Entry is timed every 30 minutes from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm; choose a slot at checkout. The barn is unheated, so dress in layers. Tickets are required for adults and children; kids under 2 are free.
