About this adventure
A Saturday tinkering table at Discovery Museum in Acton where kids stick, stack and sort model atoms and can follow along to build models of common gases. The activity connects the models to climate science by showing how gases such as carbon dioxide and methane trap heat in Earth's atmosphere. Younger children can free-build with the materials while school-age kids follow the guided builds. Drop in any time between 1 and 3 pm; included with museum admission.
