A gentle nature program for toddlers ages 1 to 3 and their caregivers at Mass Audubon's Habitat Education Center in Belmont. Sessions open with free play at themed activity stations such as sensory bins, puzzles and colouring, followed by a storybook and songs, a short walk outdoors and a take-home craft. The November 11 (Veterans Day) session is about wild turkeys, including looking for turkeys and following their tracks through the woods; the December 16 session is about evergreens. It is a relaxed way to introduce very young children to the outdoors and to meet other caregivers. Meet in the Nature Center and dress for short walks outside.
