A free school-vacation-week film screening of Pixar's Elio in the auditorium of Somerville Public Library's Central Library. In the science-fiction adventure, Elio struggles to fit in until he is transported by aliens and becomes Earth's chosen galactic ambassador while his mother works on a top-secret project to decode alien messages. The film is rated PG for some action/peril and thematic elements, and the library lists it for children and tweens. The screening runs from 2 to 4pm on the Tuesday after Christmas, a handy indoor outing during winter break. No registration is required; questions go to Annie at aschapira@somervillema.gov.
