A school-vacation craft morning at the Hyde Park Branch Library during the week after Christmas: kids make simple snowman puppets and invent characters to go with them. The library says the program suits all ages, is great for school-age and older kids and also works for tiny tots with help. It runs 10:30 to 11:30 am on Tuesday, December 29. The branch notes it is not meant for large groups, so camps and classes should contact the library first.
