About this adventure
Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford runs an adaptive snow sports program for students ages 6 to 18. Its all-volunteer adaptive staff is trained to work with students who have cognitive disabilities and with students who are visually impaired or hearing impaired, and the ski area says lessons are taught in a safe, enthusiastic and upbeat environment. Lessons take place on Sunday afternoons at 3 pm. Each lesson is a bundled $90 price that covers a 60-minute lesson with two instructors, a lift ticket and rental equipment. Before the first lesson, families complete a student evaluation form and return it to the program coordinator at the ski area so the staff can prepare. On lesson day, students go straight to the Ski School Desk and should arrive at least 30 minutes early for logistics and equipment rental. Lessons are first come, first served with limited availability, and on October 27, 2026 the page said the program was fully booked for the 2026 season.
