Fort Mill's 79th annual Christmas Parade rolls through Historic Downtown Fort Mill on the first Saturday of December at 11 a.m., a morning parade that suits families with young children who would rather not be out after dark. Expect colorful floats, marching bands and festive music, with entries from local businesses, schools, churches and community groups. The town's calendar lists the parade at Walter Y. Elisha Park on North White Street, the town's downtown park and amphitheater. Watching is free; organizations that want to march must apply between October 2 and 30, 2026. Two days earlier (Thursday, December 3) the town holds its Christmas Village and tree lighting at the same park.
