Stevens Creek Nature Center's monthly Family Homeschool Days are designed for whole families, friends and homeschool co-ops. Nature center educators set out hands-on activities and natural specimens that encourage students of all ages and their adults to ask questions and connect with the natural world; November's theme is the Science of Fall. Registration is for children only, and pre-registration is recommended, though walk-ins are accepted up to a maximum of 45. It is not a drop-off program: adults supervise and take part. The program runs in and around the fully accessible nature center.
