About this adventure
A single-day winter-break nature camp at Skokie's Emily Oaks Nature Center for children ages 6–10 (age as of 9/1/26). Campers head outside to tackle cold-weather survival challenges: building shelters and fires and exploring in the snow, with warm-up breaks indoors in between. Full day, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; dress for snow and cold. Fee is per child. Registration is through the Skokie Park District's online system.
