Frostival celebrates winter 'Jack Frost style' at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum on Saturday, December 12, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children can mail a letter to the North Pole, meet a real-life Ice Princess and Ice Queen plus winter animal ambassadors, hear a Frosty the Snowman story time, make a snowman craft, listen to strolling carolers and visit with Santa, with cocoa and cookies. The museum describes it as free, frosty family fun.
