About this adventure

The Jingle Jog Family Fun Run is the shorter, noncompetitive race of Yorkville's holiday race morning, on Saturday, November 21, starting at 12:30 p.m. at the Yorkville American Legion Post #489. The one-mile run is open to all ages, and both walkers and runners are welcome; parents may accompany their children without registering, but then do not receive the participant gear. Registered participants get a custom 3-inch finisher medal, a jingle bell to wear during the run, a holiday activity bag, and hot chocolate and a cookie from the Hot Cocoa Bar inside the Legion after the race; medals and bells are limited for day-of registrations. Santa is available for pictures leading up to the start. Part of each registration helps the Knights of Columbus provide food and toys to Kendall County families in need at Christmas. Late registration, from October 22 to November 20, costs $25 without a shirt or $40 with the commemorative crewneck sweatshirt while supplies last, and day-of registration is taken from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as space allows. Registration is online, by phone at 630-553-4350, or by mailing the registration form.
