About this adventure
A Halloween afternoon in Skokie's Oakton Park. Children in costume walk the Kooky Spooky Candy Trail, collecting candy and prizes at interactive stations, then can head next door to the Skokie Water Playground for a 'Lights On' tour of the park district's Scream Scene haunted house, run without actors, props or loud noises so younger or easily scared kids can see the sets. Tickets are needed for ages 2–13 and are sold online or at the event. If the weather turns bad the candy trail moves indoors to the Oakton Community Center. Plan on about an hour; best for toddlers through tweens.
