Preschoolers learn how the forest changes between day and night at Four Rivers Environmental Education Center on Wednesday, December 16, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The program combines a story, a hike, hands-on activities, a craft and free play for children ages 3 to 5. Free; an adult must attend; register by December 14. Dress for the weather, since the hike is outdoors. It is a gentle first nature program for preschoolers and their grown-ups.
