About this adventure
Gallagher Way, the plaza beside Wrigley Field, hosts its annual free Pumpkin Party for families on Saturday afternoon. Children can watch a strolling magician and stilt walkers, get faces painted, collect balloon creations, make crafts with KidCreate Studio and visit candy tents while supplies last. Nichols Farm hands out pumpkins (also while supplies last), and there are photo spots around the plaza. Live music comes from the Dreamtree Shakers of the Old Town School of Folk Music and the band Third Rail. Drop in any time during the four-hour window; it suits toddlers through school-age kids, and costumes fit the day.
