At Santa's Secret Workshop, children work alongside 'Santa's little helpers' at Horner Park's fieldhouse to make a special handmade gift for someone they love, ready to wrap before the holidays. The workshop runs Saturday morning, December 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is listed in the Chicago Park District's youth age group, so it suits school-age kids who can follow a simple craft project. The fee is $15 and registration is through the district's event page; a parent can use the morning for a little secret shopping of their own nearby. Horner Park is on the North Side at Montrose and California avenues, along the river.

Official CPD event page with 2026 date, time, fee and age-range label. 'Youth'/'All Ages' is the district's age-group category, not a stated numeric range. Two CPD URLs (-1 and -2) list the same date, time and fee; treated as one event.
