Northbrook Community Theatre presents Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus, billed as a production for the whole family, in the Northbrook Theatre at the Northbrook Community Center. Inspired by the famous newspaper editorial, the play follows young Virginia as she questions whether Santa exists during a hard time in her life, while editor Francis struggles with writer's block and his own future. Performances are December 11 and 12 at 6 pm and December 13 at 2 pm. The park district says tickets will be available soon, so prices are not yet published. A gentle holiday story suited to school-age children.
