About this adventure
The Palatine Park District's 46th annual Thanksgiving-morning Turkey Trot runs from Harper College with three options: an approximately 2-mile race at 8 a.m., an approximately 5-mile race at 8:30 a.m., and the Sammy Scurry for little ones at 9:30 a.m. Families can take photos, enjoy free snacks and drinks and visit sponsor booths after the races. Packet pick-up is at the Palatine Community Center on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 24–25, 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Register through RunSignup; prices rise closer to race day.
