Santa takes a break from the North Pole to join the public skate at the Northbrook Sports Center on Saturday, December 19 from 1 to 2:30 pm. Families can skate alongside him, take photos and enjoy the holiday atmosphere on the ice. There is no pre-registration; pay the regular daily fee of $7 (all ages) at the front desk, plus $4 if you need rental skates. A good first holiday skate for young children with a grown-up.
