About this adventure

Oak Lawn Ice Arena holds a Skate with Santa open skate on the second Sunday of December, a family public-skating session with a special visit from Santa on the ice. Families skate together for an hour and a half, and children get to meet Santa during the session. Admission is $10, and skate rental is $5 for anyone without their own skates. The park district bills it as a family event and gives no age limits, and the listing shows no advance registration. The day before, the same rink hosts the free Holly Days holiday ice show by the park district's skaters.
