What makes those mysterious sounds in the woods after dark? This family evening program at Heller Nature Center on Friday, November 13, from 6 to 7 p.m., separates real nocturnal creatures from spooky stories and explains how night animals use echolocation, keen hearing and night vision. Leave flashlights at home. For ages 6 to 12; every participant pays $14 and registers, and children must come with a paid, registered adult. Dress for an outdoor walk.
