On Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11, families can drop in at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum any time between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to honor the village's veterans. Children can make a flag, write a thank-you card to a veteran and learn about artifacts from Arlington Heights' own Civil War veterans, and visitors can view the current exhibit 'Stars & Stories: Arlington Heights' Old Glory.' The drop-in format makes it easy to fit around school.
