Kitten Portraits at Westerville Public Library

About this adventure

Kids and teens ages 8 to 18 visit with adoptable cats and kittens from the rescue Fairytales and Tiny Tales at Westerville Public Library, then draw a portrait of one of them. The rescue uses the finished artwork to promote animals that are looking for homes, so young artists help real pets get adopted. Registration is required and spaces are limited; each participant needs a waiver signed by a parent or caregiver age 18 or older, who must come along. The library's fair warning: kittens may climb on, chew near, or have accidents on participants.
