About this adventure

On Wednesday, December 30, the Ohio Falconry School brings falcons, owls, hawks and buzzards to Franklin Park Conservatory's Garden Pavilion. The handlers explain falconry, one of the oldest sports, and how these birds of prey hunt and are trained, and visitors get personal introductions to the birds up close. Presentations are at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., included with general admission, with no registration required. It is part of the Conservatory's winter-break family programming, so the rest of the visit can include the indoor biomes, exhibitions and Garden Café. Best for school-age children and teens interested in animals and nature.
