About this adventure
Kaleidoscope Park hosts a free evening honoring Día de los Muertos on its Performance Lawn in Frisco. The celebration combines music and live performances, community ofrendas (altars) that families can walk through to learn how loved ones are remembered, family-friendly activities, and a Catrina Fashion Show featuring the elaborate skeleton-lady costumes and makeup associated with the holiday. It is a gentle, colorful introduction to the tradition for children, and a chance for families who celebrate to share it with neighbors. The event runs from early evening into the night; bring a blanket or chairs for the lawn. Parking is in the garage at 6605 Warren Parkway next to the playground, with self-parking at 3011 Internet Boulevard and 3010 Gaylord Parkway and valet at the HALL Park Hotel.
