About this adventure
Fish a Friday is a month-long beginner fishing class at Samuell Farm from Dallas Park and Recreation's Outdoor Adventures team. Staff supply rods and tackle and teach casting, knot tying and more as the month goes on; participants can also bring their own bait, rod or tackle. It is open to adults and youth 7 and up of all skill levels, with anyone under 18 accompanied by an adult, and participants 17 and up need a valid Texas fishing license to cast. Registration covers every session in the month. Weather can move dates, and low sign-ups can cancel the program.
